Movie Review:

The movie stars Mala Sinha, Biswajeet, Balraj Sahni, Jagdeep and Nirupa Roy in lead roles.Movie is a family drama highlighting the torture done to poor girl by his rich cousin sister for the sake of selfish love. In short, Movie starts with a guy named Amar Kumar (Biswajeet) who lives a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his parents. Also he has reached to the age of marriage and now his parents feel that he should get married. Soon the arrangements for his marriage is being made and later he is introduced to Vishwambhar (David Abraham) and his family consisting of his wife and a daughter named Roopa (Ameeta). Their he also meets with a young and pretty lady named Shobha (Mala Sinha) who is Roopa’s cousin sister and is treated like a servant in their house. But the destiny has some other plans for Amar and later he starts getting attracted towards Shobha. Seeing this, Roopa physically slaps and beats Shobha senseless. After this incident, Shobha starts  maintaining distance from Amar so he can marry Roopa. But unfortunately Amar goes abroad without any commitment for marriage. In mean time, Roopa' mother throws Shobha out of house. Sobha goes to Amar's parents and tells the story, they give her shelter. But Roopa and her mother goes their too and misguides Amar's mother that they have thrown Shobha because she is pregnant. And thus they fall to lowest level of debiliation for their sake. Does Amar seeks and marry Shobha or goes with Roopa? that's you have to find. Rather, the movie is nice and interesting. It gives a emotional touch to the audience and graves the character of Shobha in their hearts.

Music of the movie is given by the fabulous duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar and Mohammad Rafi.
