Aarzoo was directed by Lawrence D'Souza in the year 1999.
The movie stars Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, Amrish Puri, Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.Supporting actors include Paresh Rawal, Laxmikant Berde, Tej Sapru, Mukesh Rishi, Mohan Joshi, Aruna Irani, Reema Lagoo and Yunus Parvez.The movie is a romantic love triangle revolving in between Akshay, Madhuri and Saif. Inshort, the story of Aarzoo shows a usual love triangle wher two boys are in love with same girl, the situations force the girl to go from one boy to other. The movie revolves around Pooja ( Madhuri Dixit ) who is the daughter of a rich businesssman named Dayashankar ( Amrish Puri ). Pooja fell in love with an air force pilot Vijay Khanna ( Akshay Kumar ) and love blossomed between the two. They decided to marry but Dayashankar didn’t approved it as he would like her to marry Aman ( Saif Ali Khan ), the son of their family friend. Aman also loves her silently. He persuaded Dayashankar to approve of their marriage.And thus the story eludes. The movie is nice and role by Akhshay Kumar was appreciated loud.
Music of the movie is given by Anu Malik. Songs of the movie are well sung by Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.
