Basant Bahar is another fantasy by Bharat Bhushan and Om Prakash and was released in 1956 and gave a hike to all musical hits of its times. Marked excellent by its spectators and oustanding by the listensers, this movie was most popular for its songs.
Songs sund by Lata Mangeshkar and Manna Dey are on the lips of many fans even today. Pandit Bheemsen Joshi has rendered the songs outstandingly.
Shankar Jaikishan has also given an marvellous music score.
