The movie stars Shashi Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.Other supporting actors include Parvez, Dina Pathak, Rakesh Bedi, Simmi, Yunus Parvez, Chand Usmani, Leela Mishra, Bindu, Bindiya Goswami, Simple Kapadia, Amjad Khan, Sunder and Kiran Virale.
Movie Review:
This old hindi bollywood movie is again an old love affair where parents play as villain for the love birds. The movie starts with a young rich boy named Raju (Parvez). He is born in the family of a rich father Sudarshan Sahni ( Shammi Kapoor). And time goes and years pass. And one fine day he come across a beautiful girl Anu ( Dina Pathak) and falls in love with her. Both goes on in romance and began to love each other deeply.But unfortunately Raju father comes to know about their relationship and disagrees with their love. He wants Raju to marry Rita ( Dimple Kapadia), daughter of his NRI friend.And on other side Anu's father Pradeep Rai Choudhary also goes against their love. Now the lovers have no choice and they elope, run away.They run into a small village in interiors of India and live a simple and happy life. But their parents come to know about location and they ran to catch them and bring them back. Are they successful? Or does love wins? This is an interesting turn. Overall, the movie is nice and enjoyable. It was quite popular among teens and even did well at Box Office.

Music of the movie is given by Bappi Lahiri. Songs are sung in the beautiful voices of Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar and Shailendra Singh.
