Movie Review:
The movie Abhinetri stars Shashi Kapoor and Hema Malini in lead roles. Other star cast includes Nirupa Roy, Deb Mukherjee, Asit Sen, Nasir Khan, Nazima, Nasir Hussain and Bela Bose.The old hindi bollywood movie comes up as a drama packet story that revolves around the life of a married couple and the problems about their relation due to their professional lives. The story of the movie focuses around the life of a young man called Shekhar ( Shashi Kapoor ), he lived a happy life with his mother in the city of Bombay. He worked as a scientist in a government organization. One day he came across a famous pop star Anjana ( Hema Malini ), who used to sing and dance on stage. He was moved by her beauty and hence lost his heart to her at the very first sight. He decided to approach her and propose her for marriage.Anjana was surprised by his proposal but soon agreed to his proposal and they married after taking his mother’s ( Nirupa Roy ) approval. They were both happy to get married together and went off on a honeymoon vacation to a hill station.But does their marriage life go happily as now? Does movie goes boring without any drama? This i leave off to you. Overall, movie is good. It was nominated for several awards and was above average at Box Office.
Music of the movie is given by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Songs are beautifully sung by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar.
