Aankhen was directed by David Dhawan in the year 1993.
The movie stars Gulshan Grover, Govinda, Chunky Pandey and Raj Babbar.The hindi bollywood is a romantic comedy which adds up to the hits of Govinda.The story of the movie revolves around the lives of Munnu ( Chunky Pandey ) and Bunnu ( Govinda ) who are the sons of a wealthy father Hansmukh Rai ( Kader Khan ). Both are good for nothing and are always found playing pranks on others, mostly they targets their father’s secretary. One day they bumped into a dreaded criminal Tejashwar ( Shakti Kapoor ), who forced them to do this job. He works for another criminal who has hired Tejashwar to get his brother Natwar Shah ( Gulshan Grover ) released from the jail. Teja has a plan to execute and hence he forced Munnu and Bunnu to work for him.And thus, the story goes. The movie was quite popular. It was made with budget of 1.96 crores and earned a gross revenue of 12.46 crores. This profit difference is enough to tell how much popular the movie was among audience.
Music is given by Bappi Lahiri. Songs are good and enjoyable.
