Aakhri Ghulam was directed by Shibu Mitra in the year 1989.
The movie stars Saeed Jaffrey, Mithun Chakraborty, Shakti Kapoor, Iqbal Khan, Anupam Kher, Raza Murad, Vishal Nihalani, Tej Sapru, Ranjeet, Sridhara in lead roles. Aakhri Ghulam is a small packet of big action, love,friendship,revenge and family relation.Dinu ( Anu Kapoor) is a poor man who lives with his son Bheema (Mithun Cakraborty).Bheema and Sonam (Tabassum) are friends. Sonam began to fall in love with Bheema. But her father Daulat Singh (Anupam Kher) rejects this approval and sends Sonam to London. She returns after years and find Bheema running away from police in murder of union leader. He was imprisoned for three years. But then too, she wake up her love and supports him. Like this,she proves her love and attracts the audience with a emotional touch. Action lies when Bheema fights.Overall, the movie is great and good enough to enjoy at weekends.
Music is excellent. It is given by Bappi Lahiri.Songs are sung by Alisha Chinoi, Asha Bhosle, Uttara Kelkar, Shabbir Kumar, Shailendra Singh, K.J. Yesudas.
