Aakhri Daku was directed by Prakash Mehra in the year 1978.
The movie stars Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor, Rekha, Reena Roy, Sujit Kumar, Ranjeet, Keshto Mukherjee and Paintal. A movie that slipped through the memory bank which is unsurprising as most daku movies were downright turgid, very stereotyped and repetitive and best avoided. This movie which was surely not the Aakhri Daku movie even if it was about the Aakhri Daku starred Vinod Khanna and Reena Roy, an interesting combination and Ms. Roy has surely seldom looked more alluring than on this particular poster.Thus, the movie goes.The movie is nice and was above average at the Box Office. Overall, the movie is nice enough to enjoy the weekend.
Music of the movie is given by Kalyanji and Anandji. Songs are beautifully sung by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar.
