The movie stars Shatrughan Sinha, Moushumi Chatterjee, Govinda. The story of the movie Aakhri Baazi comes up with a story that revolves around the tussle of underworld and the police department, the movie also presents the essence of true friendship. Based in the city of Calcutta the movie revolves around the life of Ram Kumar ( Govinda ) and his friend Laxman ( Kunal Goswami ). Ram Kumar is the younger brother of Prashant Kumar ( Shatrughan Sinha ) and they live with his wife Parvati Kumar ( Moushmi Chatterjee ). Laxman is a orphan and he also live with them. Ram and Laxman are very good friends of each other.The story stares how Laxman grows into a honest young policeman and catches the underworld don Cobra.
Music of the movie is given by Anu Malik. Songs are sung by Amit Kumar, Suresh Wadkar and Sadhana Sargam.
